Announcement: College of Liberal Arts 2025 Outstanding Student Scholarship Application Now Open (Deadline: April 30, 2025)
To encourage outstanding students in both academics and character, the College of Liberal Arts is pleased to announce scholarship funding generously donated by the Mr. Bai-Nian Chen Academic Foundation and the NCCU Alumni Huang Hui-Mei Encouragement Scholarship.
1. Eligible Applicants
Currently enrolled undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students of the College of Liberal Arts.
2. Number of Awards
30 recipients per academic year.
3. Scholarship Amount
NT$15,000 per recipient per academic year (standard amount).
4. Application Criteria
Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:
(1)Applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral students in the College of Liberal Arts.
(2)Low-income or middle-to-low income household status, from a family facing special difficulties or sudden emergencies, household annual income below NT$900,000.
(3)Academic achievement of at least 80 average score and conduct grade of “A” in the previous academic year. (For first-year students, the previous semester’s grades will be considered.)
5. Application Procedure
Submit the completed scholarship application form and all related documents in hardcopy to the College Office by 5:00 PM on April 30, 2025.
6. Required Documents
(1)Completed scholarship application form, signed and stamped by the department or program head.
(2)Official transcripts and conduct evaluations from the previous academic year (or previous semester for first-year students), and proof of enrollment (all originals).
(3)Proof of financial status or other relevant documents to support the application, including:
Official government-issued certification of low-income, middle-to-low income, or special hardship household status,
Most recent comprehensive income tax data for the entire household from the National Taxation Bureau,
Household registration transcript or copy of the new household registration booklet.
For overseas students, a credible certificate of financial hardship is required.
7. Application Deadline
All application materials must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2025.
8. Submission Location
College of Liberal Arts Office (Bai-Nian Building, 2nd Floor, Office 330217).
