[College of Liberal Arts] 2026 College of Liberal Arts Outstanding Student Scholarship Now Open for Applications (Deadline: April 17, 2026)
To encourage students with outstanding academic performance and excellent conduct, the College of Liberal Arts Outstanding Student Scholarship is generously funded by the "Mr. Chen BaiNian Academic Foundation" and the "National Chengchi University Alumni Huang Hui-Mei Scholarship."
1. Eligible Applicants: Current undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degree students enrolled in the College of Liberal Arts.
2. Quota: Approximately 30 students per academic year.
3. Award Amount: Ranging from NT$10,000 to NT$15,000 per student per academic year.
4. Qualifications: Applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Current degree student (Undergraduate, Master's, or PhD) in the College of Liberal Arts.
- Hold a low-income or middle-low-income status, be a child from a family in special circumstances, be experiencing sudden severe family hardship, OR have an annual household income below NT$900,000.
- Have achieved an average academic grade of 80 or above and a conduct grade of 'A' in the previous academic year. (First-year students may submit their grades from the previous semester).
5. Application Method: Submit the physical application form and all required documents to the College of Liberal Arts Office before 5:00 PM on April 17, 2026.
6. Required Documents:
- Application Form: Downloadable from the College website. (Note: Must be signed/stamped by the Chair of your department/program before submission).
- Original Transcripts and Certificate of Enrollment: Official academic and conduct transcripts from the previous academic year, along with a valid certificate of enrollment. (First-year students may provide transcripts from the previous semester).
- Proof of Financial Hardship / Supporting Materials: Documents can include:
- Official government-issued certificates (e.g., low-income, middle-low-income, or special circumstance family certificate).
- Comprehensive income tax data list from the National Taxation Bureau for the entire household from the most recently completed tax year.
- Full household registration transcript or a copy of the new household certificate.
- For Overseas Chinese Students: A credible official certificate of financial hardship.
7. Application Deadline: April 17, 2026 (Friday) before 5:00 PM.
8. Submission Location: College of Liberal Arts Office (Room 330217, 2nd Floor, BaiNian Building).
