Have you ever had moments like these?

"He hasn’t been showing up to class lately... could something be wrong?"

"She seems different somehow… but I’m not sure how to ask."

Or maybe, you’ve found yourself caught in a situation, a sudden crisis, or an emergency — not knowing what to do?

In a school setting, teachers and TAs are often the first to notice when something is off — but they may also feel the most powerless.

This workshop invites frontline faculty and staff to reflect and practice:

with just a bit of attentiveness, a bit of care, and a bit of calm presence,

how can we help students navigate through their difficult times?
